Lauryn Hill is considered a legend in hip-hop culture to many, and it looks like the Library of Congress agrees.
According to Yahoo! Music, Lauryn Hill’s “Miseducation” will be inducted into the Library of Congress
The criterion for selection includes a project or song that is “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” and also must be at least 10 years old. Lauryn’s Miseducation debut was released in 1998.
Other big names will be joining Lauryn’s classic album for induction, including Radiohead, Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me,” The Doors, and even comedian Steve Martin.
Congratulations to Lauryn on her big music milestone.
