Photojournalist, Gail Zucker celebrates birthday on February 10th.

Who is Gail Zucker?

Often times we forget the behind-the-scenes people who make magic happens. Gail Zucker is one of them. Besides being a humble spirited and soft-spoken woman, she began visiting Jamaica in the late ’70s. She fell in love with the island, it’s people and the pulse of Jamaica, reggae music. She loved taking pictures from an early age, many of Jamaica and other destinations traveled, and continues that love of expression.

Gail Zucker attended Ohio State University and Rio Grande College
with majors in English and Journalism.  She currently lives in Miami while spending a lot of time in her second home in Jamaica.

Gail Zucker is currently a “Special Events Photojournalist,” whose skill with her camera helps to tell the story of what took place at the various reggae events she covers. Her photos leaves viewers having a magical sense of being in the front row and sometimes as if they were on stage!
